Una válvula de tapón que el grifo perforado se utiliza para el miembro de cierre, y el grifo se gira con el vástago para realizar la apertura y el cierre de la válvula. Se beneficia de su estructura simple, cierre rápido y pequeña resistencia al flujo, la válvula de tapón es una de las primeras válvulas utilizadas en la historia, y no se reemplaza por nuevas válvulas como la válvula de bola, y se vuelve más popular en el mercado en los últimos años.

Two basic types is available for Plug valve

1. Model X43F: special-designed sealing pair consisting of valve seat bushing (PTFE or PPL) and steel-made cock; the cock is stainless steel (inlined).

2. Model X43F46: all surfaces of valve body and cock are lined with FEP. The extended on the basis of the above-mentioned basic type lined with PFA, PCTFE and PPL that its temperature can be reached up to 300℃, where the embedded PPL as new materials can suit the requirements of various work conditions. Model X43F and Model X43F46 self-lubricating plug valve provide an unique rocker regulating arrangement and ideal taper angle structure, contributing to excellent sealing performance and long service life, and simultaneous sealing at both inlet and outlet, little friction coefficient of sealing pair and flexible cock rotating (lubricant is not required ever) during the whole operating process.

 

Structural features of Model X43F plug valve

1. The window at the inlet/outlet of the valve body provides a double-groove sealing ring structure that the sealing pressure between sealing pair is gradually changed during the rotating of cock, to produce an enough sealing pressure resulting in zero leakage of the pair when it reaches fully-opened or fully closed position.

2. The double-groove sealing ring enables the PTFE bushing to be stably displaced in the valve body, and absorbs the micro transformation of the bushing arisen from temperature change, moreover, the forceful wiping action occurs between the bushing and the cock, which prolongs the service life of the sealing face.

3. The upper part of the cock shaft is made from a PTFE diaphragm, O ring and regulating gasket, which can regulate the sealing pressure between sealing faces to enable the cock to be flexibly rotated and ensure the sealing of inlet, outlet or middle flange connection.

4. The whole sealing process is almost irrelevant to the pressure in the pipeline.

5. The different material packing is applied for PTFE bushing according to operating temperature and working media, contributing to good lubrication and long service life.
